Our Story

RIMU Music Day Nursery was established in 2012 by our founder Nathalie Richardson. The inspiration behind the nursery grew from her twenty one years running the Step Up Performing Arts School in London. Through this experience, Nathalie saw first hand how early exposure to music and the performing arts builds confidence, shapes young minds, and opens up wonderful life opportunities for children.

Our Vision

We believe that creative expression belongs right at the center of early childhood education. As Beethoven famously said, music can change the world, and RIMU is a London nursery group with music woven into its very fabric. Every child receives the earliest possible exposure to a rich musical education because this daily immersion helps to balance children intellectually and emotionally.

Our Locations

With branches in Lee and Blackheath, we welcome families across three unique London settings. Every day brings something new for our children, including nutritious homemade meals prepared on-site daily by our nursery chef.
